At a press conference for his new series, "Old Fung's Diary" 《�馮日記》, Stephen did not exhibit an angry attitude towards the magazine's publications of his photos with Karen.

With this statement, he indirectly acknowledged that Karen was his live-in girlfriend.

Stephen wrote the screenplay and directed his new series, "Old Fung's Diary." Stephen will also be acting in the series himself. TVB has bought the rights to broadcast this new series. The series also guest stars many of Stephen's real-life friends, such as Karen, Gigi Leung Wing Kei, Josie Ho Chiu Yee, and Chan Chi Chung. Stephen also indicated that the series contains many story arcs based on his own life.

Jayne: We don't have a direct statement from Stephen saying "Karen is my live-in girlfriend," but as the newspaper noted, that's a very close admission of his relationship with Karen. Actually they have always been quite open, even appearing at the HKFA awards ceremony holding hands.
