Kevin Cheng, Bernice Liu, & Yoyo Mung at New Year's Eve Promotion

Kevin Cheng Ka Wing, Yoyo Mung Ka Wai, and Bernice Liu Bik Yee attended a New Year's Eve promotional event at a mall last night. Fala Chen, Matthew Ko, Shine, Rednoon, etc. were also present to sing and play games. While creating a lively atmosphere, the stars had a New Year's countdown with the fans present.

Earlier there were rumors that Kevin has been diagnosed with diabetes and needed to take 6 months of rest. As a result, he received numerous messages inquiring about his health.

Kevin explained that he does not have diabetes, but only has high blood pressure. Besides being on a low-salt diet, Kevin also needs to take daily high blood pressure pills. Otherwise, his daily routine has not been affected. But in order to continue working hard, he must keep his body in good health first.

Bernice has been busy filming "The Entire City Dances" but she was able to take a few hours off to attend the mall promotion yesterday. Due to the strenuous dancing sequences required in the series, Bernice has been very tired lately. After the promotion last night, she still needs to return to TVB studio to continue filming. After work each night, she has been soaking her legs in saline solution to relieve muscle tension.

Yoyo appeared in a gold colored ball gown yesterday and many praised her for looking beautiful in the dress! Reporters found Yoyo reading text messages on her cell phone. She did not confirm whether the messages were from Ekin Cheng or not, but many friends have sent her New Year greetings. Yoyo admitted that sending text messages is more convenient than calling long distance.

Yoyo's first New Year celebration is spent apart from Ekin. Yoyo said that if she doesn't have a place to go, then tshe will stay at home to play video games. When reporters pointed out that her interests are the same as Ekin's and whether Yoyo will formally admit her romance in 2007, she said, "There's nothing to reveal. Please do not ask me."

First it was the tiff with his money-hunger'teacher' then now his health. Hope 2007 is a better year for him.
