Dayo Wong, Cecilia Yip, & Lam Ka Wah at 'Evil Kin' Costume Fitting

Dayo Wong Chi Wah, Cecilia Yip Tung, and Lam Ka Wah were at the costume fitting for new TVB series "Evil Kin." Dayo said, "The producer told me to be extremely evil in this series, but I can redeem myself to gain pity later on. It is uncommon for a series to feature an evil character as the main character. Will the audience be able to accept this?"

"I am full of confidence for this series; it will pull in ideal ratings! We celebrated last night already. Cecilia Yip Tung treated."

Reporters asked Cecilia why she treated everyone before filming even started? Cecilia said, "It was not for celebratory purposes, but just a dinner to get to know everyone before filming started. Since it is my first time working with Dayo and Lam Ka Wah, it was an opportunity to get acquainted."

Is Cecilia concerned that Dayo may play practical jokes during filming? "He already teased me earlier!"

Lam Ka Wah will be playing Wong Fei Hung and has been instructed by the director to preach kindness among his peers. Consequently he will be using his mouth more than his fists in the series. Lam Ka Wah is unafraid that Dayo will steal the limelight in the series.

I wonder if this is a comedy. Still remember Kenneth played as evil kin in My Master Is Wong Fei Hung and his performance was pretty funny and I liked how they showed that his character wasn't really a bad person and the way he portrayed it.
I wonder how this series would do. So far Dayo Wong is the only actor convincing me to watch this series, is he really going to be evil? Being an ancient series also makes it hard for viewers to accept since most like modern. Hopefully it'll have a strong supporting cast, Yip Tung as female lead doesn't seem that good of a choice.

Am I the odd man out here? Though he looks very comical offscreen, but I never find Dayo to be funny onscreen Shocked

. Never watched War Of Gender but I did watch To Catch The Uncatchable. If it wasn't for Ada, I would have quit watching early on. It was an okay series for me. Nothing worth memorable nor praising about. A truly overrated series to be receiving such high ratings as it did, IMO.

that serie sound good to me.it has fresh feeling for the audience because it's rare to have an evil character to be the main protagonist.besides the main character that is going to play the evil is Dayo.when i watch this serie i think i am gonna burst out laughing because Dayo is such a comedian.
