Miriam Yeung and Louis Koo hope to find love in the year of the fire pig.

The young-at-heart Miriam Yeung Chin Wah and Louis Koo Tin Lok always wanted to attend the New Year carnival event in Wanchai. Reporters at Appledaily made their wish come true this year and took them to an amusement park event.

During the photo shoot, fans shrieked in excitement when they realized Louis and Miriam were in the crowd. Some female fans also thought that Louis was on a "secret" date with Miriam and took photos of them using their cell phone cameras.

When reporters realized their compatible looks, they requested Louis and Miriam hug for several photos. But Miriam insisted, "I have known Louis for years! We are good friends and will meet up for dinner once in awhile!"

Did Miriam buy any peach blossoms this year? "While filming earlier, I purchased some peach blossoms to increase my good luck. But I will have to find the right person first. In the new year, I hope to have better romantic luck and find someone to love me though!"

Louis said he will be staying in Hong to spend the Lunar New Year with his parents. "Normally I am so busy working I have no time to spend with my family. Since there is a few days of rest over the New Year holiday, I decided to stay in Hong Kong to spend more time with my parents."

"Each year, many relatives visit our house for New Year's. The children all want to take photos of my toy collection room, how can I not be there to watch over them carefully?!"

Louis noted his goals for the new year, "I hope to have good fortune in both love and career. If I can film a representative movie, that would be best. I will continue to focus on movies in 2007. Although last year was a busy year, I was happy working, as it allowed me to try various roles in different movies, further stretching my acting."

Jayne: Don't really like Louis with his carrot orange hair. I still think Asian's look best with black or brownish hair. Funky shades like blonde, orange, fire red, blue etc. remind me of anime characters and look very unnatural.

Agree! Louis seems to be trying to stay and look young ever since his DIF4 days. I prefer his hairstyle then. His current orange top makes him seems older and it does not go with his skin tone.

Yes, Louis doesn't look good in this hairstyle. Colored hair just doesn't go along with Asians. Black is still the best for Asians

Guyz, u got it all wrong! I agree he does look very unatural with his new hair style, but in order to film his drug addict role in the movie, "Protege", he had to die his haor like that, to make him look kinda like a "bad guy" and a typical "drug addict".

yikes...first time I think Louis doesn't look good...with the orange jacket and orange hair...it makes him look like a carrot.

i agree louis looks like a carrot..but i think it's just that shade of orange. Actually, hacken (lee) looks better with blonde rather than black hair (in my opinion)...but you're right, i really cant think of that many other asian stars who look good with colored hair.

his hair is that colour for a new movie coming up, not protege, i think 破軍

and i also prefer his hair black, dark brown is ok too
