I think his singing skills are fine, just this song didn't really fit in to this series. I feel sorry for him, why actor/singer also get criticized. I do not see any problem with both singing and the song itself. In fact, the singer is able to sing out the underlying feeling and the song itself is insightful. It is a pity that city people lacks this type of art and living philosophy.
