Shu Qi Kisses Hugh Jackman in Car Commercial
The international collaboration between Shu Qi (舒淇) and Hugh Jackman have won the hearts of many netizens. Recently, Hugh and Shu Qi filmed a car commercial for the Toyota automobile Levin. In a 15-minute commercial that was shown at the car’s launch in Guangzhou a few days ago, Hugh and Shu Qi shared a heartwarming and romantic kiss.
The commercial, which was directed by Transporter 3 director Olivier Megaton, was secretly filmed in Los Angeles in April. It was reported that a crew member on set told Hugh that it was Shu Qi’s birthday on April 16, prompting Hugh to book a restaurant and invited both Shu Qi and the crew for a lavish dinner. Shu Qi said that she was very honored and delighted to work with the X-Men star.
Stephen Fung Hints Love
Although collaborating with Hugh proved to a memorable experience, Shu Qi’s heart belongs to rumored boyfriend, Stephen Fung (馮德倫). He shared two photos of Shu Qi’s pet cat biting his hand on his Weibo blog. The media speculated that he was, once again, hinting at his followers that he was more than just friends with Shu Qi.
Netizens who left comments on his post expressed their desire to see Stephen and Shu Qi tie the knot. “If you’re together, then you’re together. What’s the point of hiding it?” Another said, “Just admit it. It’s not like you guys are idols anymore.”
Jiang Wen Praises Shu Qi
Shu Qi’s charisma and sweet personality has not only attracted Hugh and Stephen, but also Gone with the Bullets <一步之遥> director Jiang Wen (姜文), who said Shu Qi oozes “feminine charm.”
After over four months of production, Gone with the Bullet wrapped up post-production in January 2014. Jiang Wen said Shu Qi, who stars as a seductress in the film, was a joy to work with. He praised, “She is definitely beautiful. She’s a very professional actress. She has a healthy lifestyle, stays true to herself, and is very understanding. She’s also very polite.”

I used to find her unattractive. Then again i used to find Jolie ugly too (can someone confirm that shes never had something done to her lips?). I thought both of them had sausage lips and shu qi’s eyes are too wide apart to be considered beautiful. But somehow, over the years, similar to how if you listen to the same m.. c over and over again, you start to like something about it and then eventually enjoy it. Now i think theyre both (non-traditionally) beautiful and talented individuals.
Anyways i digress. I always find it pretty cool how Asian celebrities always comment on the hospitality of their coworkers. It makes Americans seem so magnaminous when really, American celebrities spend like that daily, although most americans are really generous. It makes Asian celebs seem really petty in comparison. Idk.
