Celebrity Weddings: Ariel Lin and Charles Lin
Taiwanese actress Ariel Lin (林依晨) and Charles Lin (林于超) held their wedding celebration on Christmas Eve December 24, 2014. The couple invited over 600 guests consisting of close family members and friends from the entertainment circle. Ariel changed into three different gowns for the night and was unable to stop smiling during the entire banquet.
Dating Charles for over two years, Ariel maintained a very low-key relationship with her boyfriend prior to announcing their engagement this year. To protect her privacy, Ariel kept her marriage banquet simple and denied direct media access to her reception. However, a crowd of camera-welding reporters blocked her arrival at the banquet hall. Luckily for Ariel and Charles, the banquet hall’s security guards used umbrellas to cover the couple and blocked off any source of photography.
Prior to the wedding, the couple visited Charles’ hometown. Besides paying respects to Charles’ ancestors, Ariel also abided by the family traditions of throwing a fan out of her car window on the wedding day. According to Charles’ family traditions, this gesture symbolizes the riddance of bad habits.
Since media access was denied from Ariel’s wedding, the only source of photos was from the celebrity guests themselves. Ariel’s good friends, Mickey Huang (黃子佼) and Xie Na (謝娜) were present at the banquet. Seeing Ariel’s joy on her wedding day, many fans dropped congratulatory messages and left heart-warming wishes.

Congrats to Ariel and Charles! May they have a lifetime of happiness together.
By the way, doesn’t throwing a fan out of the car window indicate that a girl is no longer a daughter since she is married out now traditionally? I remember hearing that from somewhere but I can be wrong.
Oops typed the wrong email again.

According to the drama “Inborn Pair” played by Annie Chen & Chris Wang at episode #15 at 36 minutes. When the bride throws out a fan, it means she is leaving behind all her bad temper & bad habits behind before she goes to her new house/home/life.

She looks lovely but a tad tired and way too thin.
>>>On a separate news a pair of newly weds were arrested for littering.
LOL! 🙂
Congratulations to Ariel.
She’s looking thinner, but imo a taller improvement from her former chubbier self. She looks less like a kid in this thinner version of herself.
Theirs looks like a very traditional very-Chinesey type wedding.
Observations from the rather dated-looking ornately decorated basket she’s carrying, the rather tired photography, her 2 evening gowns and his suits.
She looks radiant in her wedding gown.
Gawd! She needs to put on some weight! All i see now is a haggard looking bag of skin and bones!
She has always been skinny. I never find her attractive anyway but she is popular from that Kiss whatever series.
God bless this couple and may bring them much deserved happiness. Seriously I am glad for them (And for some goods news as well.)
