Myolie Wu and Bosco Wong Ignore Each Other at TVB Photoshoot
TVB recently won the broadcasting rights to FIFA World Cup in 2014. To celebrate this acquisition as well as to promote its “Amazing Summer” campaign, the company gathered over 360 artists yesterday to shoot promotional clips and snap group photos for this year’s TVB calendar.
Due to their busy work schedules, many top artists were absent at the event. To generate buzz amidst poor artist attendance, TVB positioned former couple Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) and Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) next to each other. Although both claimed to have moved on from their 8-year relationship, Myolie and Bosco appeared rather awkward and avoided contact completely at the event.
Among the current first-line artists, only Kenneth Ma (馬國明), Bosco, Myolie, and Kate Tsui (徐子珊) took their spots in the front row. The rest of the line was filled by audience favorites Wong Cho Lam (王祖藍), Edwin Siu (蕭正楠), Selena Li (李詩韻), Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), and Kristal Tin (田蕊妮). The male artists donned red polo shirts while the actresses wore a contrasting green.
Myolie and Bosco avoided speaking to each other throughout the shoot and both maintained obvious physical distance. Myolie diverted attention away from the awakwardness by chatting frequently with Kenneth Ma. Bosco also kept himself busy by talking with good friend Kate Tsui, with whom he was previously rumored.
When reporters asked if it was awkward to stand so close to her former flame, Myolie denied any discomfort. “[We] have been out of touch for quite awhile. It is normal to run into colleagues.” When pressed about the possibility of the two getting back together, Myolie tried to avoid answering the question by saying, “Why aren’t Moses Chan (陳豪) and Aimee Chan (陳茵媺) here today? It would be great if they are!”
While Myolie treated him as a stranger in public, Bosco remained courteous and greeted Myolie during his press interview. When asked to comment about standing next to Myolie at the photo shoot, Bosco said, “We’re just doing our jobs as normal.” Bosco was then asked if he would collaborate with Myolie in the future. Bosco seemed open to the idea. “It depends on the company’s plans. You guys are the ones who make this awkward! Things are actually okay between us.”

It is true that with time it should get better, however, in some cases, the awkwardness will always be there. Just like with one of my former friends. We were close like sisters, but now that she dumped me, being around her is very awkward regardless of how much time has passed because she is the type that claims to forgive but not forget… If Myolie is like that for example, then the awkwardness will always be there regardless of how much time has passed.
better for them to stay awkward and ignore each other! if they are captured talking to each other the media will say they are getting back together which is worse!
the real culprit is tvb who purposely make them stand together and ignore each other to make news since nobody else want to attend this stupid event!
tvb is so cheap! they know the media will be writing about this but they still do the positioning to promote the event!
how do you know if nobody wants to attend the event? can you read their minds? everyone there is known enough to generate ent news. bosco and myolie were just the cherry on top.
and how would you explain moses and tavia missing since tvb stop all filming for that day? obviously moses and tavia are evading the press from asking about aimee and him law and left the hard situation to myolie who takes her job seriously!
they would have other commitments! you don’t purposely avoid attending an event like this just to avoid the press’ questions. how long have they been in the freakin’ industry for?!

There were so many artistes who were missing from the event. Why would tavia and moses purposely opted out for the event just because they want to evade the press from asking them about their other half? That doesn’t make sense. They’re not even in an underground relationship. What is there to hide?

All those ex daters/ex spouses who says nonsense like ‘friends after goodbye’ is a load of crap hahaha… I mean, if you have seriously like/love this person after a breakup you can NOT possibly be easier n said they are still good friends. The awkwardness and obvious distance says it all in the above pic and I think they are normal. If they are able to put on fake smiles and bs chitchats they wouldnt have broken up in the first place.

If you really like Myolie, you would listen to her fans(on jaynestars, weibo, etc) who keep telling you to stop bashing everyone and dragging myolie into everything. You are not a myolie fan.
There are several past video interviews to prove they’re close probably not super close but I wouldn’t call them strangers, they’re friends. Besides it’s the same principle, she does not hate Kate and Bosco. I just feel like you’re the type that thinks by insulting her ex boyfriend and friend will make you feel better and in some way you’re protecting Myolie and defending her in an honorable way. Saying these negative things towards them makes you feel better well it’s just sick that you seem to be enjoying it and pride yourself with that enjoyment of joy towards others demise. It’s not healthy.
I just have to say I haven’t encountered such a fan that obsessed with one person and just because you read that one interview of her does not mean you know everything between her relationship with Bosco and Kate. It seems like you have your own selfish desires like some fans do to wish their fave celebs to get together in real life, it’s most likely not gonna happen.

Those shirts look like what cleaners and repairmen always wear in tvb series. Some exec even proudly told the media they gave those shirts to the artistes for free. Wow! What a great benefit!

I am pretty stubborn when it comes to bumping into exes so hahha…. Even if I was unfortunate to have a old colleague who happens to be in the same company as I am even thou I can be professional I will still try NOT to bump into each that often let alone show up together in a gathering. Gatherings are mostly BS anyway so I am sure if either of them do not attend it’s not such a big deal. Celebs, whether or not you are popular or whatever, if you can talk to each other there is something to report, if you don’t talk to each other, they will still write about you so i will totally diss the functions haah LOL…
