Nancy Wu Injures Herself On Set, Protects Ruco Chan
Nancy Wu (胡定欣) had a minor injury while rehearsing an action sequence with the choreographer in yesterday’s studio set of TVB’s The Alliance <同盟>.
The 35-year-old actress, who costars with Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) and Paw Hee-ching (鮑起靜) in the action thriller, slipped and sprained her left ankle while rehearsing an action sequence right before her shot. Nancy reportedly didn’t realize that she was injured at first, and even asked Ruco, “Did you hear a ‘pop’ sound?” When Ruco responded yes, Nancy yelled in pain.
“I was being impatient,” said Nancy. “I slipped in my landing. When I heard a popping sound, I didn’t dare to make a move. I just sat on the ground and had our staff help me treat it with ice. Because I couldn’t walk, we had to call the ambulance. Fortunately, no bones were injured.”
Nancy added that she probably won’t be able to film action scenes for a while, but she will return to work after a few days of rest.
When the reporter joked that her rumored boyfriend, Ruco, had failed to “protect” Nancy from her injury, Nancy immediately went defensive and said, “It’s not his fault! He is a very good partner and we take good care of each other. He’s very careful when he’s working around us girls.”

Ruco and Nancy do have that chemistry…both have an active lifestyle, independent and sporty.
Oh no this surely sucks, so unlucky. They were already shooting for a few days without incident but right after the prayer ceremony this happens!
