Wong Cho Lam Builds Dream House, Ready for Marriage?
With the high ratings and positive reviews of Inbound Troubles <老表，你好嘢!> and a thriving relationship with Leanne Li (李亞男), Wong Cho Lam (王祖藍) seems to be on the top of the world these days. In addition to more income-generating opportunities such as hosting gigs and appearance fees in the Mainland, Wong Cho Lam is also taking advantage of the market and investing in real estate.
Wong Cho Lam currently resides in the Sai Kung area of Hong Kong. Last year, he spent $10 million HKD to purchase a farmland in Sai Kung to build a 3,000 square feet 3-story home complete with a parking garage and outdoor garden, which comes to a grand total of over $15 million HKD after renovations and should be ready to move in by the end of the year. Wedding speculations between Wong Cho Lam and Leanne grew even more intense after Leanne was overheard admitting that “owning real estate is one of the criteria to get married”.
Purchasing the piece of land and building a 3-story home was no easy feat for Wong Cho Lam. Aside from working with an architect to draw a blueprint, he also had to apply for a permit from the government due to the extensive renovations which includes installing pipes, gas, water and electricity. He also reportedly hired a feng shui master to ensure that the house is compatible with him and Leanne. Wong Cho Lam plans to have his mom and sister occupy the first floor while he and Leanne will have the second and third floors to themselves.
When approached by reporters about the new development, Leanne said, “I like living in low rises because the air quality is better. I don’t mind living with Wong Cho Lam’s mother and sister because I’m easy to get along with. The wedding is only a rumor! Wong Cho Lam is so busy right now, so I’m just happy being able to enjoy dinner and a movie with him.”

Well, filming doesn’t pay that much but the exposure definitely helps. The money probably comes from promo appearances and he did some concerts w/ Johnson and Louis.

well, perhaps that is also why she picked him despite all their differences? most noticeably, the height n looks wise? haha….let’s admit she is one fine looking girl who ppl will take second looks at him holding hands w/a brother haha..most of these showbiz women are materialistic i think n also she is NOT at all popular in TVB, they promote certain ppl and not others. very realistic too…
