Former Miss Hong Kong Winners Reveal Pre-Debut Pictures
The annual Miss Hong Kong Pageant is coming soon for 2017, and on Thursday, former winners such as Tracy Chu (朱千雪), Grace Chan (陳凱琳), and Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎) attended a press conference for the upcoming event. Also in attendance was 2015’s winner Louisa Mak (麥明詩), 2016 winner Crystal Fung (馮盈盈), 2016 runner-up Tiffany Lau (劉穎鏇), 2016 second runner-up Bonnie Chan (陳雅思), and Miss Friendship Bowie Cheung (張寶兒).
On stage, the former Miss Hong Kong winners and contestants courageously talked about their changes since competing the pageant, and shared some of their pre-debut portraits with the press.
Not many of the girls have changed—Tracy looked just as sweet and elegant, and Tiffany is still as tan and fit as before. Jacqueline, on the other hand, went through quite a big change, but she was not embarrassed to talk about it. She pointed out that confidence is the most important trait when it comes to competing for pageants.
Grace, who is turning 26 years old next month, expressed her astonishment at how fast a year has gone by. The 2013 Miss Hong Kong winner, having welcomed three batches of MHK juniors already, said she’s feeling old, but enjoys her own journey to maturity.
After completing her duties as Miss Hong Kong, Crystal will put her focus in the entertainment industry. She hopes to meet new challenges under her new identity. Expressing her excitement for the upcoming pageant, Crystal also expressed her hope to make new friends with the upcoming MHK contestants.

why did they do this? i think it’s great that they are showing their bare faces. we all know that they are just regular people w/o the costume and make up, but people forget that when they’ve never seem their plain face. i like it when celebrities advocate for no make-up, there’s too much out there to make girls think they always have to wear make-up to stay pretty, totally untrue!
Jacqueline Wong is not pretty at all nowadays. Her looks even getting worse to look at. Her smile doesn’t look attractive at all, maybe because of her mouth looks big when she smile.
