Ruco Chan Avoids Phoebe Sin at TVB Event

On Tuesday, TVB gathered together some of its biggest stars to promote the company’s upcoming video app the Big Big Channel, which will be officially released in June. Aside from the report of TVB executives delivering their goals and objectives on the new project, the usual ensemble of former and rumored couples also took center stage.

Kenneth Ma (馬國明) and Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎) came on top as the most approachable and easy-going rumored couple that day, allowing reporters to take photos and interview them together. Former couple Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪) and Jennifer Shum (岑杏賢) did not interact at all. Tammy Ou-yang (歐陽巧瑩) and Auston Lam (林師傑), who are confirmed to be dating, stood far apart from each other.

The most popular rumored pair—TV King Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) and former Miss Hong Kong contestant Phoebe Sin (單文柔), avoided each other that day. When reporters tried to get the rumored couple to do an interview together, Ruco immediately declined and left the press con, leaving Phoebe to handle the reporters herself.

When reporters mentioned that Ruco had already left, Phoebe said, “Oh really? I didn’t know.” (He probably didn’t want to do interviews with you.) “Maybe it’s because he’s busy, so he had to leave first. I know he’s pretty busy.” (Have you guys communicated before coming here?) “Not really.”

Admitting that she has went on more dinner dates with Ruco, Phoebe said their conversations mainly consist of mindless talk. Asking if Phoebe is aware of Ruco’s past love rumors, she said, “I’ve read about them before. There’s nothing to be shocked about.”
