Shu Qi (舒淇) has offered a hilarious defense mechanism to fight her skin allergies.

Before walking the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday, the 41-year-old actress checked up with a doctor to get her rashes treated. Thanks to her makeup artist, Shu Qi managed to keep the rashes on her face hidden beneath a beautiful coat of makeup.

That Friday morning, Shu Qi shared a picture of her sleeping at her hotel in Cannes. Shu Qi slept in A Bathing Ape hoodie jacket, which she zipped all the way up to the tip, covering her entire face.

She wrote, “The final method to cut off the allergy source. Hope I’ll have a good night sleep and won’t wake up itching.” Fans are wishing her a speedy recovery.
