Yang Mi Will Not Go Back in Time to Fix Relationship Problems
At a forum for the exclusive screening of her upcoming film RESET <逆时营救>, Chinese actress Yang Mi (杨幂) opened up to various questions, answering almost all of them within the 17-minute time frame. Some of those questions even lightly touched upon her rumored troubled relationship with husband Hawick Lau (劉愷威), and Yang Mi answered all of them as honestly as she could.
The high-budget Korean-Chinese production, produced by Jackie Chan (成龍), stars Yang Mi as a mother who consistently goes back to the last one hour and 50 minutes to save her child. Yang Mi said, “Within those three hours, my child dies two times. No one can accept that.”
Yang Mi also said she “absolutely won’t” go back in time if she was offered the chance, not even to fix a setback in a relationship. “If there was a setback, that means you’re not meant to have it. Even if you can go back, you’ll still never get it. Besides, you can’t go back in time anyways. I won’t regret anything. I also don’t believe in second chances.”
RESET, which also stars Wallace Huo (霍建華), opens in China on June 30, 2017.
