Bosco Wong, Venus Wong Go on Date in “Flying Tiger”
Playing a Special Duties Unit (SDU) officer in Internet drama Flying Tiger <飛虎極戰>, Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) usually films with heavy body armor and weapons. Yesterday, he took a break from action scenes and had a relaxing dating scene with co-star Venus Wong (王敏奕) instead.
The scene between Bosco and Venus attracted a large number of onlookers who stopped to take photos. Although it was still fairly hot on the day of filming, Bosco and Venus cooled off with fans and air conditioning in the company car when the cameras were not rolling.
Thankful for being able to wear his comfortable clothes in the heat, Bosco said, “There are a lot of people in Sham Shui Po. Compared to the other days where I had to dress in full gear – today’s date scene was a gift and blessing – it was super relaxing! Even though this is a web series, the filming method is akin to a movie. The guns we used to day were all real – It’s definitely a big budget production!”
Venus said that Bosco took good care of her on set. Bosco laughed, “It’s more like she took care of me. We’re a couple in the series, but the script doesn’t say anything about a kiss!” Asked if Bosco will flirt less so he doesn’t anger Venus’s future father in-law, Eric Tsang (曾志偉), Bosco said, “What flirting? I’ll leave this duty up to Michael Miu (苗僑偉) – he’s always so chok.”
Venus thanked Bosco for looking out for her, “I don’t have a company car, but he let me use his car for the air conditioning! This is my second time working on a series after Never Dance Alone <女人俱樂部> and I think the production team made good preparations. It was raining and we had a lot of gear to bring; the guns were heavy and we sweated so much. It was very physically tiring!”
