Jacqueline Wong Visits Kenneth Ma’s Parents for Lunar New Year

At a mall promotional event, Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎) dressed in a suggestive single-shoulder red dress despite the chilly weather. Jacqueline explained that she did not have time to go shopping and had to wear any red dress she could find from her wardrobe.

As with the tradition to visit respected seniors and friends during the New Year, Jacqueline especially made time to visit her boyfriend Kenneth Ma’s (馬國明) family. When teased about whether Kenneth’s mother was excited to see her future daughter-in-law, Jacqueline said, “I don’t think so. They haven’t rushed us about marriage. I don’t think they will. It won’t happen any time soon! I just went there briefly for a cup of tea. Actually, it is not the first time I met his mother, so I wasn’t that nervous. I did bring New Year cake, turnip cake, and gift certificates as gifts.”

Has Kenneth returned the favor and visited Jacqueline’s parents for Lunar New Year? Due to the couple’s busy schedules, they have not been able to find a time to visit Jacqueline’s parents together. Regardless of how busy their schedules are though, Jacqueline strongly believes that respect should be paid for Lunar New Year. She teased that if they still can not find a time to go together, she will ask Kenneth to go by himself to wish her parents.
