Moses Chan and Aimee Chan Prepared 1,000 Red Envelopes for Lunar New Year
Since marrying Moses Chan (陳豪) in 2013, Aimee Chan (陳茵媺) has reduced her workload and public appearances. During the Lunar New Year, Aimee made a rare appearance with Moses during a celebration event. When asked whether they handed out a lot of red envelopes this year, the couple expressed, “We prepared nearly 1,000 red envelopes. We were hard at work last night preparing them for everyone. The kids were too young to help out.” Though their children were too young to help out, did they stand nearby to watch? Moses laughed and said “No, I didn’t let them. I was worried they would take all of the red envelopes. They’re very good at messing around!”
Though Moses and Aimee had to prepare over 1,000 red envelopes, their three young children were helpful in offsetting their debt. To save money during Lunar New Year, Moses’ good friend, Sammy Leung (森美) jokingly advised people to avoid visiting homes with a lot of children, specifically Moses’ home. Moses laughed and responded, “Now that you mention it, I actually have not seen Sammy. I am waiting for him to pass out red envelopes to my children!”
Traditionally, families will reunite from near and far on Lunar New Year’s Eve in order to have dinner and welcome the New Year together. Aimee, who typically cooks western meals, had to prepare a table full of Chinese food for the reunion dinner. Moses was full of praises for his wife, “She usually cooks western meals. During the reunion dinner, she cooked Chinese food and it was still very good. I can tell you that Aimee’s cooking tastes great!”

I really like Aimee in Outbound Love starring opposite Ruco Chan. On drama screen, both are great! Would love to see Aimee back in acting though her motherhood role might supersede everything.
Motherhood has really aged Aimee. She looks like a see lai now.
