Aimee Chan Talks About Personalities of Her 3 Kids
Since marrying Moses Chan (陳豪) in 2013 and welcoming three children in consecutive years, Aimee Chan (陳茵媺) has mostly retreated from the limelight. After giving birth to the couple’s third child and only daughter, Camella, Aimee hopes to shift her focus back to work. Recently, the mother-of-three attended a promotional event. Aimee glowed in a black and white dress and a sleek hairdo.
Aimee and Moses never shied away from admitting their desire to have a big family. Sharing that same sentiment is fellow TVB actress, Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣), who recently announced her second pregnancy with husband, Jeremy Leung, and departure from TVB. In regards to Linda’s pregnancy announcement, Aimee said, “Congratulations to her! It made me remember the feelings of holding a baby in my arms.”
When asked whether she wants to try for another baby with Moses, Aimee exclaimed, “No! Just thinking about having four children is scary enough. It’s not about the fear of pregnancy, because I quite enjoy the process. Even though labor is painful, only a woman is able to feel the struggles through labor with the baby. Right now, having to take care of their meals and shuffle them to and from school, three [children] already are too much.”
Is it because her children are becoming more disruptive as they age? Aimee said, “No, they are actually quite obedient. Our teaching methods emphasize on freedom. We want to let them make their own decisions, so they can develop their own ways of thinking. Our eldest son is very soft and proper. He knows how to flatter girls. Our second son is more independent. He’s very masculine and assertive. Our daughter is the housekeeper of our family. We all call her ‘CEO’.”

First son looks like Aimee. Second son and third daughter look more like Moses. It’s hard raising 3 kids. With Moses filming in China for Jonathan Chik’s new series, now may not be a good time for Aimee to focus on work more. The kids are probably in nursery school, but still need a lot of Aimee’s time to care for their emotional needs.
