Nicholas Tse to Compete Against David Rocco in “Celebrity Chef: East vs. West”
After debuting his cooking show Chef Nic <12道鋒味> in 2014, Nicholas Tse (謝霆鋒) has made a successful transition to the food industry, becoming a multi-talented artiste. The Hong Kong actor-singer has now made plans to reach audiences beyond Asia, and will be collaborating with the television network Fox Life for a new program about celebrity cooking.
As announced by Fox Life, Nicholas will be competing against celebrity chef David Rocco in the new food program Celebrity Chef: East vs. West, in which the two celebrities will travel around Asia and challenge each other in cooking different Asian cuisines.
Besides his acting and singing career, Nicholas is also known for his entrepreneur ventures. He is happy for the opportunity to be able to make use of his passion for cooking as well. He shared in a recent interview that he enjoys cooking for his staff working overtime. Whenever he sees his staff working all night and morning, he would run to the kitchen and make something for them to eat. A staff member shared, “We’re used to this already.”

Wait, so he’s up against a celebrity chef who’s basically the opposite; a chef who became a celebrity rather than a celebrity that became a chef. Seems a little lopsided if you ask me. It’s like asking David to be in an acting competition with Nic. Ah well, guess you have to take what you can get.
