[Music] Raymond Lam and MC Jin’s “Reunion”
With the opening of FILMART 2018 in Hong Kong yesterday, Flying Tiger‘s <飛虎之潛行極戰> theme song was unveiled. The web drama is an ambitious joint effort between Shaw Brothers and Youku, featuring Michael Miu (苗僑偉), Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), and Ron Ng (吳卓羲) as members of Hong Kong’s Flying Tigers unit.
Raymond Lam and MC Jin lend their voices to the theme song, titled “Reunion”. Raymond’s melodious voice carries well in the catchy English lyrics, “We are bulletproof so fire away“, while MC Jin injects vibrancy with the Cantonese rap.

I came for the MV. Cool collaboration!
It almost seems as if Raymond and MC Jin are singing separate songs. The parts don’t really go well together. Maybe it is better for Raymond’s song to be opening theme, and MC Jin’s song to be ending theme. Then each song can maintain its own individual style.
