Ruco Chan Getting Married Due to Mother’s Failing Health?
Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) is known to be a filial son. When his popularity and money-earning abilities increased, he immediately purchased a luxury property for his mother, which is worth at least $1 million HKD. It comes as no surprise then, when rumors abound that he is tying the knot with Phoebe Sin (單文柔) for his mother. It is reported that Ruco’s mother recently suffered a stroke and in order to counteract the bad fortune, Ruco decided to get married with his girlfriend of two years.
When faced with the allegations, Ruco assured, “Thank you everyone for your concerns. My mother is currently recovering. Getting married is a happy occasion. Everyone who has parents or children at home hope that their family members are healthy and happy. I am just fulfilling my role. Everyone, please do not worry. I also hope that the public will give me a little bit of privacy. I hope to spend more time with my family.”
It is alleged that Phoebe and Ruco are extremely compatible according to feng shui. The former Miss Hong Kong contestant will supposedly bring good fortune to Ruco. When probed about his marriage to Phoebe stemming from superstitious beliefs, the 41-year-old actor said, “The most important thing is that two people are comfortable with getting married. Today’s generation is very different. We are not getting married through an arrangement. Timing is very important. I hope to plan the best for my current and future family. Whether it is my parents or my children, I hope to give them happy memories and send positive vibes. I just want to play my roles well. In regards to everyone’s assumptions about superstition and feng shui, I can only say that the most important thing is to believe in my own hard work and genuineness.”

Yes Ruco is correct… Happiness and Good health is the main factor in life… Of course money is important,, but like i say.. if u dont have as much money then spend less..

This poor guy has finally found someone he loves and who loves him in return. It is a happy ocassion for them so the media ought to be kinder. If they have no wish to bless the couple, the least they can do us leave them alone and respect their request for space and privacy!!

@loveruco I agree with you. Even if the med does not like someone, they still usually congratulate the celebrity on their upcoming wedding. Sometimes the childish diarrhea I read about Ruco is so mind boggling as it is written by people over forty years old. I wish Ruco and Phoebe a beautiful wedding day, filled with love and warmth, sourrounded by their nearest and dearest.
@loveruco the media are just as childish as some netizens. The media shipped him and Nancy Wu just like the delusional so called fans. It sold their toilet paper rags, that the same insane “fans” bought. When Ruco was adament in that he did not , or is not dating Nancy, the fans stopped had no fake love stories to buy anymore. That was a financial blow for the media, who proceeded to paint Ruco in a bad light. I don’t expect the toddlers working as the media to congratulate Ruco, no more than I expect the sun will not come out tomorrow.

This money hungry fame seeker is obviously only staying in the show business for the fame,fortune and high social status. I have been crazy over him for a while…however his sudden announcement of marriage seems rather odd. his denial and suddenly a marriage announcement.
@janet72 I don’t see anything odd about his marriage. His mother had a medical situation and maybe she wants to see her son married just im case…. Being the filial son that Ruco is, he will want to make his mom happy. Also, he seems to love Phoebe very much. Illness, death and unplanned pregnancies can speed up weddings . That combination happened to a pretty boy almost two years ago. He was never going to get married. Loved one died, parents health not good and his half beard got pregnant. I called her half beard because he is bi. Mom not doing that great so he got married as she wanted him to marry and give her grandbabies. Ruco is not doing anything wrong
Getting married after 2 years of dating isn’t too fast, especially for a 41and 28 year old. The quickness of the planning may be due to the fact that they have more resources than the average couple. Also, his mother’s health probably weighs heavily on his mind as I am sure he worries about potential declines. She just be so excited to finally see him start a family. If the outcome is already known, why delay it?
