Raymond Lam Films Shootout Scene for “Cold Detective”

Raymond Lam (林峯) is currently busily filming Emperor Motion Picture’s new crime-thriller movie,Cold Detective <神探大戰>. Portraying a detective, he wore a thick and heavy bulletproof vest while running around with co-star Kathy Yuen (湯怡) to take down several thieves and gangsters. With the handsome and popular Raymond engaging in realistic shootouts, this scene attracted a total of about 100 curious onlookers watching the filming.

Filming on Temple Street in the Jordan district, the crew had closed off surrounding streets to film the scene. Along with the large crowd, the set was packed with several actors portraying police officers, background actors and a few police cars on stand-by. This led to many business owners complaining that their sales are being disrupted.

Nevertheless, everyone’s attention was on the good-looking Raymond and the dramatic but highly convincing shootings. Sweating profusely after multiple runs in a heavy vest, Raymond was photographed holding a mini fan to cool himself down while the staff wiped his sweat and fixed his makeup for him. During this time, fans took the opportunity and used long selfie sticks to take photos with him. After the shoot was completed, fans and onlookers clapped and cheered for Raymond’s active performance.

Cold Detective also stars Sean Lau (劉青雲) and Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍). The movie is slated for a 2019 theatrical release.
