Moses Chan Suffers Injuries While Filming ”Assassin”

Commencing filming in August, Assassin <殺手> stars  Wayne Lai (黎耀祥), Moses Chan (陳豪), Ali Lee (李佳芯), Elena Kong (江美儀), Katy Kung (龔嘉欣), and Samantha Ko (高海寧). Both Wayne and Moses will portray hitmen who strive to live normal lives in spite of their line of work. The crime drama is full of action scenes, which resulted in several cast members getting hurt.

While attending an event, Moses revealed that he also suffered injuries from filming. “I got injured too. My arms and legs are all bruised. But compared to the movies I filmed before, this was nothing. There were times where I had to roll down a hill, sleep in a sewer, get crushed by an altar, and so many others. Compared to today, we really did have to risk our lives back then. It’s a lot safer today, and we are more creative with camera angles now. You can make someone who doesn’t know martial arts look like they know it. We’re very fortunate now.”

In addition to suffering from injuries, Moses also had to bulk up for his role. He is committed to a rigid workout regimen, drinking protein shakes, and watching his diet. Moses may be 47 years old now, but still remains fit and toned. “The last drama I filmed, I had to lose weight. I dropped to about 160 pounds. This drama required me to gain weight. Now, I’m a little more than 180 pounds. I’ll continue to maintain my workout regimen to stay fit. I’m middle-aged now, so exercise is good for my health and makes me feel younger.”
