How is Matthew Ho’s Love Life?

Life on the Line <跳躍生命線> star, Matthew Ho (何廣沛), discusses his six-year acting journey at TVB. He also addresses romantic rumors with co-stars, Kaman Kong (江嘉敏) and Rebecca Zhu (朱晨麗).

After completing his accounting degree in the United States, Matthew attended TVB’s 26^th artiste training class. He promised his family that within a five-year period, if there were no signs of success in his profession, he would change his career path. He shared, “I remember in our training class we had to create a short video in which we expressed our goals for the next five years. I only hope that people will recognize my name by then, and in ten years time, I hope that I can have a product in which I’m the male lead. I didn’t want to just say these goals without action, so I have been working really hard.”

Matthew Ho had the chance to work with many beautiful actresses including Kaman Kong from Tiger Mom Blues <親親我好媽>, Rebecca Zhu from A General, a Scholar, and a Eunuch <超時空男臣>, and currently, Moon Lau (劉佩玥) in Life on the Line. How did he feel about each co-star?

“With Kaman Kong, we were acting as 17 year old high school sweethearts. But in reality, I’m actually six years older than her. With our age gap, there comes a generation gap so I only see her as a little sister.

In terms of Rebecca, she is Miss Hong Kong so she embodies both beauty and wits. But after filming, I realize how down-to-earth she is.” With regards to his dating rumors with Rebecca, he responded, “I’m actually close with all my coworkers, we like to go out for food all the time. We haven’t thought about dating at all because right now, I’m really focused on my career.”

Unlike his fellow classmates, Matthew was very lucky in terms of opportunity. He understands the importance of chance so he knows that he must always be prepared and work hard.
