Felix Wong Takes Care of Wife Through Illness

Felix Wong (黃日華), has been happily married to his wife, Leung Kit Wah (梁潔華), for 30 years. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with leukemia in 2013, which led the couple to celebrate their 25th anniversary in the hospital at the time. Kit Wah’s condition has been stabilized in recent years.

Felix’s 1989 drama Looking Back in Anger <義不容情> is currently rebroadcasting in Hong Kong in the midnight time slot and many viewers cannot wait to see his fantastic acting again. Felix was a highly promoted actor in the 1980s after joining TVB’s Artiste Training Class. In 1980, he filmed his first drama, Yesterday’s Glitter <京華春夢>, where he also met his wife. They began dating in 1982 and finally got married in 1988. The couple has a beautiful daughter, Adrian Wong (黃芷晴), who is already 28 years old.

Though they are now in their 50s, their looks have not changed a bit. For sure, Felix’s love for his wife hasn’t changed either. Felix has always been known as a family man in the entertainment industry. Besides filming, he rarely went to social events and instead chose to spend his time with his family.

Within these five years of fighting leukemia, Kit Wah has been constantly going back and forth to the hospital for treatments and chemotherapy. With such procedures, there is definitely a lot of financial pressure but Felix believes that they can get through any obstacle as a family. He is constantly working hard in Mainland China to earn money for her medical expenses. Though it is tiring to travel between Hong Kong and China, he is willing to make the trips to ensure his wife gets the best treatments.

Without a doubt, Felix is definitely a 100 percent husband towards his wife, and has kept his promise to love her through sickness and in health.
