4 Eligible Bachelorettes in Hong Kong Entertainment
With 48-year-old Jessica Hsuan (宣萱) spotted shopping for crystals recently, it was speculated that she may be using feng shui to improve her romantic outlook. Besides Jessica, the Hong Kong entertainment industry actually boasts many beautiful and eligible bachelorettes as well:
1. Kara Hui (惠英紅)
Kara is a well known film star in the 1970s and 1980s, but experienced a decline in popularity in the years following and appeared in supporting roles in TVB series. Persevering for many years, Kara eventually won three Best Acting awards in 2009 and successfully turned around her career. Despite her achievements in acting, Kara’s love life is rather empty. Rumored with action choreographers Ching Siu Tung (程小東) and Liu Chia Liang (劉家良) dating actor Karel Wong (黃子揚) in the past, Kara is still single at 58, but still hopes to get married.
2. Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼)
The only one left in her closely-knit girl group, the Seven Devil Sisters, to not be married yet,43-year-old Charmaine is still one of TV’s most eligible bachelorettes. Charmaine admitted on a talk show that she had more than 10 boyfriends over the years. The most well-known relationships she had were with Benny Chan (陳浩民) and Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), who are both married now.
3. Niki Chow (周勵淇)
Niki also dated Kevin in the past, but the relationship ended after Charmaine supposedly entered the picture as a third party. Becoming more popular with Mainland Chinese viewers after The Virtuous Queen of Han <衛子夫>, Niki’s luck with romance also seemingly had a turnaround when she dated Mainland actor Jeremey Tsui (徐正曦). However, the two broke up after a short while, ultimately making Niki available once again.
4. Maggie Cheung (張可頤)
Having won the Best Actress Award at TVB’s Anniversary Awards in 2003 for her performance in The King of Yesterday and Tomorrow <九五至尊>, Maggie was once one of the biggest stars in TVB. Unfortunately, not only did she suffer from thyroiditis some years ago, the 49-year-old actress didn’t have any luck in finding her other half either.

I think Natalie Tong, Nancy Wu, Monica Chan and Pinky Cheung should be on the list too? I’m not sure about other such as Cathy Chow? Priscilla Chan wei Han? Or Lee Shan Shan? And Erica Choi?
Why need men or marriage when they are successful in their career and rich esp Kara and Charmaine?
