Andy Lau Resumes Work After Recovering from Flu
Back at work, the 57 year-old displays his admirable professionalism.
After cancelling his comeback concert midway, Andy Lau (劉德華) has resumed work , first of which is filming for his new Hong Kong movie Hong Kong Land <香港地> (tentative title). The 57 year-old was forced to cancel the remaining four shows out of his “My Love Andy Lau World Tour”’at the Hong Kong Coliseum due to throat infection and flu.
After two weeks of rest, Andy was spotted back on the filming set, enthusiastically involving himself in discussions on filming details with his fellow cast, Kent Cheng (鄭則仕), as well as the crew.
Serious Work Attitude on Display
Looking suave in a well-fitted suit, Andy was filming an outdoor scene at the Water Supplies Department on Tai Yip Street, Kowloon Bay before shooting wrapped up in the evening. Andy could be seen discussing the scene and dialogue animatedly along with Kent and the director, giving suggestions to the crew as well as walking to the camera to inspect the lighting and angles. Andy displayed professional and serious attitude in ensuring everything from performing to back-end production ran smoothly, as the crew respectfully listened to his suggestions and ideas.
Wife Personally Delivers Food
After packing up the props on-site, the crew then left to continue indoor filming at a factory in Kwun Tong. A black seven-passenger vehicle which Andy’s wife Carol Chu (朱麗倩) was on could be seen entering and leaving the factory premises. The 52 year-old was believed to have delivered a homemade meal and soup to cheer her husband on at work.
