Jasper Liu and Eugenie Liu for New Netflix Original “Triad Princess”
More Than Blue <比悲傷更悲傷的故事> star Jasper Liu (劉以豪) and Mon Mon Mon Monsters <報告老師！怪怪怪怪物！> star Eugenie Liu (劉奕兒) are teaming up for the new Netflix original series Triad Princess <極道千金>, a story about Angie (Eugenie Liu), the daughter of a triad boss who yearns to leave the shadows of her dark family past behind. She ends up working as the bodyguard of a popular actress, in hopes of getting closer to the actress’s rumored boyfriend (Jasper Liu), a “laid-back but strange” idol actor.
Directed and written by At Cafe 6 <六弄咖啡馆> creator Neal Wu (吳子雲), Triad Princess is Netflix’s second original Mandarin-language series, after the crime thriller Nowhere Man <罪夢者>, which is set to premiere sometime this year. Nowhere Man stars Joseph Chang (張孝全) and Alyssa Chia (賈靜雯).
On starring in the Netflix show, Jasper said, “I was immediately captivated by this uniquely hilarious role when I first read the script. I’m excited to start!”

also, the premise of this show sounds a little shady. deliberately working for a celebrity in order to get close to the BF? nope, doesn’t sound shady at all.
