Charlene Choi was Once a Third Party Unknowingly

Twins pop duo, Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍) and Gillian Chung (鍾欣潼), have both had tumultuous love lives. While Gillian is now enjoying the sunshine after the rain and is happily married to handsome gynecologist, Michael Lai (賴弘國), Charlene is still looking for her Mr. Right. She is currently dating rich millionaire, Anthony Shek (石恆聰) and the two are rumored to be tying the knot at the end of the year.

Charlene has had several high-profile relationships that ended disastrously. Although much of her marriage to Ronald Cheng (鄭中基) was kept under wraps, the couple shocked the public when they acknowledged their divorce. Later, Charlene dated her label mate, William Chan (陳偉霆). Their relationship was never positively received and, after four years, the couple broke up. Although these past relationships are most often linked with Charlene, she had experienced other bad relationships that were never publicized.

Recapping her ill-fated luck, Charlene shared about unknowingly becoming a third party in a relationship. When the man was pursuing Charlene, he told her that he did not have a girlfriend. Charlene was further assured of his single status through his actions, as he would respond to her text messages immediately and they would often go on dates and talk on the telephone constantly, just like any other couple. Then, one day, Charlene suddenly got the news from a friend that the man was getting married to his live-in girlfriend. Reflecting on the situation now, Charlene is still baffled by the bizarre situation. She recounted often calling the man late at the night due to her hectic work schedule and he would pick up and talk to her as normal.
