Aaron Chen Caught Cheating with Xie Xin

Aaron Chen (阿翔), part of the Taiwanese comedic duo Plungon (浩角翔起), was caught cheating with Taiwanese variety program host Xie Xin (謝忻). Netizens have been unable to accept the news and have taken to both of their social media accounts to unleash their anger.

This news came as a shock as Aaron has seemingly been happily married for the past eight years with model Grace Gong (龔淑卿) and they have three children together. Grace and Xie Xin are also good friends, with Grace openly praising Xie Xin’s great personality on her social media account.

Aaron’s affair with Xie Xin came to light on June 8 when the pair was photographed French kissing on the streets. Aaron drove by a flower shop and Xie Xin walked over to his car. Aaron’s arm snaked out and Xie Xin bent down to kiss him on the lips, before Aaron’s car pulled away and Xie Xin went back inside the flower shop.

Aaron and Xie Xin’s exchange only lasted three minutes, but reporters were able to photograph their entire kiss, which meant that the paparazzi had gotten wind of the affair and were just waiting for the right opportunity to capture their cheating on camera.

Hints of Cheating in Past Flirtatious Exchanges

Paparazzi had actually witnessed Xie Xin changing in Aaron’s car before but when the news broke out, Aaron’s wife and his Plungon partner came out to defend him stating that it was not possible. Aaron also denied and joked that he and Xie Xin were like brothers.

Aaron Apologizes for Crossing the Line in His Friendship

After the photos of Aaron kissing Xie Xin were published, he apologized for his behavior. “All along, we’ve been good friends. But I didn’t grasp this friendship clearly and crossed the line as a friend.” Aaron said he and Xie Xin often comfort each other through hugs when they are feeling down. When the press asked how long has it been since he crossed his line as a friend, he hesitated and said, “Up until now, we’ve always been great friends.”
