Him Law Pairs with Kelly Cheung in New TVB Drama
After a three-year absence from TVB, Him Law (羅仲謙) is back to film for the station. The 34-year-old actor has been focusing on the Mainland Chinese market, but his decision to film again in Hong Kong is likely due to his wife Tavia Yeung (楊怡) wanting to have a child soon so the couple can spend more time together.
For his comeback drama The Witness <木棘証人>, he will be leading with green-leaf actor Wille Wai (韋家雄). Although primarily a thriller, it also contains comedic elements especially the “intimate” bromantic moments between Him and Willie. Kelly Cheung (張曦雯) and Sammi Cheung (張秀文) portray Him’s romantic interests, while and Pinky Cheung (張文慈) will play his older sister.
With filming beginning soon for his drama, Him has been trying to get himself ready for his role by exercising and tanning.
Promoted as one of the co-leads, Willie’s role is customized for him. His romantic interest will be Pinky, who will pursue him in the drama. Both had a hinted relationship beyond friendship in Life on the Line <跳躍生命線>, so they are expected to bring their existing chemistry to the new drama. It will be a challenge for Pinky to play a character so forward and direct with her romantic advances, as she is personally more passive in dating in real life.

Happy for Wai ka Hung. Not good having Kelly Cheung leading though..
So many no-talent hacks getting lead roles in HK dramas and movies. No wonder HK entertainment is hopeless.
