Esther Kwan Takes Teen Daughter Shopping
Esther Kwan (關詠荷) and Nick Cheung’s (張家輝) daughter, Brittany, is nearly 14 years old. The mother-daughter duo was recently spotted shopping together, in which many could see she has inherited her parents’ good looks.
Spotted in a supermarket in the Central district, Esther and Brittany were seen shopping in their comfortable athletic wear. While Esther was looking for steaks, Brittany stayed close by her side. When they spotted the paparazzi on their way out, Brittany immediately put her hat on to cover her face, and the two immediately grabbed their groceries to leave. Still staying close by her mother’s side, the two headed straight to their car and departed.
Since the birth of Brittany, Esther has entered a semi-retired state to take care of her. Esther will occasionally return to filming if coming across the right script, such as 2013 TVB drama Always and Ever <情逆三世缘>. But with Nick’s busy film career, Esther found it difficult to balance family and work without sacrificing too much time with Brittany. “My daughter kept asking me to spend more time with her, so I’m trying to work less,” the 55-year-old actress said earlier. Her greatest priority now is to take care of family.
