Linda Chung Films Sexy Bath Ad; Eager To Buy Another House
Aside from her new drama, Daddy Good Deeds <當旺爸爸>, local audiences will be able to see Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) in four new commercials that she filmed, allowing her to pocket $1 million HKD in a mere two months! With her promising income, Linda hoped to purchase another house at the end of the year.
Despite the early Spring weather, Linda and a little girl wore a thin, sleeveless dresses for the filming of a commercial for Dettol Natural shower foam, in which she received a 6-figure sum for the endorsement fee. Linda had a good time playing with the little girl prior to the filming of the ad.
Afterward, Linda took a 3-hour bath for the ad–revealing her shoulders, cleavage, and legs–an appearance which Linda claimed to be her sexiest commercial to-date! Due to the amount of skin exposure in the shower foam ad, Linda especially conditioned and prepped her skin to ensure it was in optimal condition for yesterday’s filming. Wrapped only in a towel yesterday, Linda’s skin was glowing and the outline of her fit figure was visible.
Earlier, Linda grew addicted to exercise, in which she took twenty aerobics classes in two months. Linda posted on her Weibo blog earlier, “I am very happy that I am bit by an exercise bug, which makes the body healthier! I am very happy! I hope everyone will take better care of themselves and do more exercise, leading to greater physical and mental joy!”
Linda Chung and Steven Ma’s (馬浚偉) new TVB drama, Daddy Good Deeds, garnered promising ratings in its premiere episode, averaging 31 points and peaking at 33 points. Announcing that she will be returning to Canada to visit her family at the end of March, Linda may be unable to appear at future dinner celebrations for the drama.

She shaved. It is the camera lightning. Not everybody has fair smooth skin.
This is where good, light-handed photoshopping would come in handy – especially to avoid such ambiguity even though I’m sure she shaved, it’s just unflattering.
She shaved/waxed. Her skin isn’t really good so it looks like this. And we are not living in the 60-70s where unshaved underarms women are considered as sexy so I doubt she won’t shave it.
many women goes for Electrolysis Hair Removal nowadays, I think Kate, TY, Myo, LInda and etc have had this operation done so they don’t have to bother shaving their armpit or any hairy area lol.

It is good to get electrolyisis so that you don’t have to keep on shaving/waxing. I hope to get that done one day but it is pretty costly so need to have money first. I am sure that many actresses have had that done so that they don’t need to shave all the time.

I don’t think any actresses would show their underarms if they haven’t shaved. But I thought that most of them would get laser and electrolysis to get rid of the hairs permanently since they may not have the time to shave all the time…

My suggestion would be to dump kung-fu boy and get back w/ ah fung. She would immediately be more interesting!
First change her hairstyle. Its been like that for the past 8-9 years she’s been in the industry. Every series she’s in, she looks the same. No wonder she doesn’t have many memorable roles coz she looks the same (same appearance, same expression) in every series.
She’s basically a safe actress. She’s not bad, but she’s not great either. She doesn’t shine. You can watch a whole series without having any major discussions abt her. You watch it and move on. And having no discussions is not really a good thing. It means her presence on screen hasn’t had any effect on anyone (be it good or bad).
Be a little more daring. Take more risks. Change hairstyles. Learn how to talk properly during interviews too. She’s too – whats the word – in her comfort zone and not willing to break through that barrier. I remember watching an interview of her and Amigo. Too reserved. She only answered what Amigo asked her. She wouldn’t expand on her answers. she also mentioned she didn’t have many friends in hk and only stuck to her Vancouver friend Leanne (lived together at one stage) because she was from Vancouver and they spoke English. Its as if she didn’t attempt to make friends with other ppl to expand her circle of friends. That’s the impression i got from the interview.
Another thing, she lacks street smarts. A grown woman who don’t know how to call a friend/assistant/colleague or a taxi home and relies on a police car to get home is nothing to look up to.

one hit wonder. she hasn’t been able to replicate anything close to it after that hehe…. she’s filmed like 20-30 series and she’s only known for a 2min scene….muhaha.. really pushing it. that’s probably her one and only climax in her whole career lol. her roles in L’escargot and Daddy Good Deeds haven’t had much of a praise either. keep it that way.. she’ll eventually plateau off as she fails to engage and keep the audience interested.

Anyway, her image now is fine to me. She’s not naturally sexy which is fine, as some have mentioned, enough in TVB trying the sexy route anyway.
A Journey Called Life was Linda’s amazing performance to me. That one performance alone should have been her one-hit wonder (if that’s the argument we’re making), unfortunately that series was way underrated. Even if AJCL was her one-hit wonder, at least she’s got one hit – that one performance trumps everything she herself or any other fadans have done.
My favourite series with Linda was Twilight Investigation… so I guess there is more than one with her in it 😛
@TVBFanatic – still think her AJCL was her greatest performance to date. She was cute in Twilight Investigation, but I think she gave a brave, thoughtful performance in AJCL. 😉

The birth scene was so real and I just love the marathon theme.
@exoidus. It’s a real shame that not many have watched AJCL. I think of it as not only Linda’s best performance to date, but the best performance from a fadan in the past few years. It was just that good.
A lot of people consider her breakthrough as HOG (which yes, she was good in there), or even YSSS but AJCL is where it’s at for me. 😉
I think Linda’s performance is rather weak in HOG but SJS is a good character (especially in comperison with MR where her acting is better but having a quite dull character). The show I like Linda in is Twilight Investigation because I think she is quite natural with this type of role. She is actually very stiff in the beginning of GOL as it seems not her real characteristic. BTW, in LE she replayed her SJS from HOG but due to the problem of the character and maybe her expression, it’s a worse SJS. Overall, I think Linda is good in certain type of roles, the ones tat close to her real personality.
However, it isn’t a bad thing since every fadans in Txb now are one type of role like this. Linda won’t feel alone.

She’s not only known for a 2min scene. Her popularity also grew due to her role in ‘A Journey Called Life’ and ‘Heart of Greed’. Miss Koo crying scene just happen to be her latest fad.

No need to wait till they’re 35 and above, look at MJ, his PS defects was so obvious and visible by thte time he reached 35+ and above. Dont worry about LF, his facial structure is not so bony so the defects won’t be that visible.. ppl who has bony face like TY will easily get spotted with the enhancement like her nose for e.g.

I don’t associate good skin with Linda Chung. Even if she gets sh*tloads to flog a skincare products, she still has bad skin at the end of the day. Someone posted an extreme closeup of her back on AF and it was bad-red blotchy patches all over her back. And no darl. it’s not an allergic reaction.
especially with HD tv, it just blows it up. even packing on makeup won’t help her because you can still see the lumps. as for the body, that probably explains why she’s always covered up.
