Nicky Wu’s New Drag Queen Hobby
After Nicky Wu Kei Lung and mainland actress, Ma Ya Shu got divorced in 2009, Ya Shu immediately got married with a Caucasian man known as James. Allegedly, Ya Shu and Nicky’s marriage ended due to James’ third party involvement.
Perhaps Nicky may have been traumatized by his ex-wife’s quick re-marriage. The normally ultra-masculine Nicky, has picked up an interest in cross-dressing, wearing female wigs, and make-up. Earlier in May, photos of “Drag Queen” Nicky circulated the internet. In one photo, he had also drawn a “cleavage line” on his chest!
Nicky may have become addicted to cross-dressing. Along with his two male friends, Nicky dressed up as drag queens and established a group known as “the Shanghai Night Three Sisters.” Allegedly, Nicky banned the public release of these drag queen photos, but they still managed to circulate the internet. Several netizens became nauseous after viewing Nicky’s photos.

Jayne: Very odd-ball photos of Nicky Wu. Is there a psychological release for a man when he cross-dresses as a woman?!
I think it is just innocent fun. A man getting in touch with his feminine side is nothing strange. Moreover he looks rather pretty, like those Japanese anime girls!
I wonder if his ex-wife’s quick remarriage caused him to be this way?? Or maybe he just wants to have some fun?? I don’t see anything wrong with it. Back in the days, when women were not allowed to act on stage, men always had to dress up as women all the time. Therefore, I don’t see a big deal about this. At least he isn’t hurting anyone or doing anything bad. I do hope that Nicky will eventually find someone that will really love and treasure him unlike his ex wife…
I do feel bad for Nick in regards to his marriage, but it might not be a bad thing. Everything happens for a reason. If I am not mistaken, she was the third person who broke-up Nick and Ada. I do think like what Funn Lim said that the drag cross dressing is mere innocent fun, no pun intended. He is much too masculine for that.

One reason I can’t stand some netizens…they’re closed-minded and eager to jump to conclusions. Please have a sense of humor if not have a few brain cells that are still functioning.
There’s nothing wrong with cross- dressing, especially when it’s done with a few friends because that just shows that he’s having fun. I think I just realized that the world is full of contradictions. I mean we’re taught from a very young age not to judge a book by its cover and unfortunately, that’s exactly what we all do when we grow up (to a certain degree). How many times have we tried to impress someone with our appearances and first impressions? How many of us are being judged by the clothes we wear without having the opportunity to reveal the real us?
It’s 2010, women can vote (at least in the U.S. lol), homosexuality is no longer listed as a psychological disease (regardless of what the Catholic Church tells you-don’t get me started on this subject people because it will go for ages), why are things like this making headlines? OMG…so it’s a male actor in drag…what’s the big deal? Masculinity shouldn’t be measured by what a guy wears. I thought a real man is someone who takes responsibility for his actions, has integrity, character, and honor. You know as in someone who’s not afraid to stand up for his beliefs, someone who can keep his promises, or someone who’s willing to sacrifice himself for his loved ones, but I guess I’m also jumping to conclusions (yeah, sarcasm).

wow.
homophobes.
people like them disgust me.
anyway there’s no “turning that way” because of a bad marriage.
if he had such, urges he’d had it long before.
i guess he’s just having fun.
Yes, I think this is just for fun ^^
