Kris Wu, Andy Yang Take No Chances Heading Back to Work
As the number of new coronavirus COVID-19 cases slows down in China, many celebrities have returned to work. The cast and production team of The Golden Hairpin <青簪行> have also received their work notices. To fulfill the requirement that all staff must be cleared of any potential virus risks, both Kris Wu (吴亦凡) and Andy Yang (杨紫) were seen queuing patiently to be tested at the airport.
Returning from Canada, Kris showed full cooperation as he followed instructions and made his way into a hotel bus after testing. Under new rules, all travelers coming from countries outside of China have to undergo testing and quarantine themselves at a designated hotel for 14 days.
As for Andy, she also arrived at the airport early and stood out particularly with her well-equipped protection gear. In comparison to Kris, the actress took preventative measures to another level with her disposable raincoat, gloves, mask and face shield. Completely covered from head to toe, Andy’s preventative measures were regarded to be even more professional than many front-line health workers. She took no risks to ensure the safety and well-being of others and herself.
With the cast and crew taking strong precautionary awareness, many hope the drama can successfully resume filming without any additional delays.
