Based on the pictures above, imo the ones who actually look good are Jumbo and Louisa.
Roxanne and Sisley look okay too.
Jumbo, Grace Chan and Ali looks good without makeup. I have to say Sisley looks good with longer hair especially the picture above. There’s something about Jeannie nose it looks unnatural.
i know some celebrities do look very different w/o makeup. but in real life, i haven’t met anyone who looks drastically different w/ no makeup. i think it has always been a scam from the makeup companies to convince girls to buy make up. i have heard that makeup is very damaging to skin, so one less reason to use.

I know many ordinary citizens that look completely different with no make up on that it scares me. Make up and skin care companies always scam people that I am shocked that people still fall for it. My late parents were very anti make up and told me to only wear it for special occasions as it damages your skin. I agree with my parents to some extent since I have seen people who have nice skin naturally look like pale ghosts after wearing make up for a long period of time. Make up basically stripped their skin of all the color and other things which is why those who wear make up regularly but then stop wearing look so pale and sickly. I do not want to become like that so I never wear make up unless it is for special occasions. Make up can get very expensive too. I only use some skin care but that is it.
@hetieshou it depends on the person. I think makeup enhances facial features on most people. plus nowadays most of them come with some sort of spf which means faces don’t get as much tanning, leading to paler complexions. I don’t use makeup too much (although I used to) because it’s becoming a bit too time-consuming and also, I get acne pretty easily. anything and everything can trigger my face off. but I don’t see makeup as something nasty, because there is a lot more “natural” makeup these days to balance the chemical-laden ones. it’s great fun to use makeup.

I’m sorry, but based on the photos above as the only way to judge, how the heck is Grace Wong without make up look just as good? She looks 10 years older and pretty haggard in that picture. Grace Chan I would agree with (again, based on the picture above)

I agree and I cannot believe that Grace Wong is included on this list. I think they all look ok except for her. She looks very old and haggard without make up. She is younger than me but looks way older than me.
Err…..is it just me but everyone seems to look……normal without make up?
@rika I agreed. In fact, some looks even worse than “normal”: Winki Lai, Sisley Choi, Grace Wong. Even Ali Lee does not look good at all. I think Makup does make day and night differences.
Unfortunately most of these pics still use filter accept jumbo and grace Wong. But I think jumbo looks good without makeup. The rest have filters especially the ones where it’s clearly taken for an article like grace chan and Sisley. They clean it up a bit.

Oh yes very good point so they are cheating. Reminds me of one of my friends who always uses this one app which heavily uses filters which cleans up all of the flaws and makes the photo look like studio photos.
