“Plan B” Filming: Kenneth Ma Has Always Wanted a Daughter
Kenneth Ma (馬國明), Eliza Sam (岑麗香), and Hugo Ng (吳岱融) were spotted in Kowloon Tong filming a scene for the upcoming TVB drama Plan “B” <BB大晒>, the second installment to Liu Chun-shek’s (廖晉碩) BB franchise. Kenneth plays the father of a three-year-old girl, played by child actress Tung Tung (彤彤). Kenneth praised the little girl for being great co-worker. Kenneth has the opportunity to work with several children on the show, and said he has learned to be more patience through this experience.
Asking if the show has gotten Kenneth to love children, Kenneth said, “I’ve always loved children. This show hasn’t changed any of that. If I were to choose, I would love a daughter. I don’t know why men tend to prefer daughters.” Pointing out that his friend, Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), is expecting a second child, he said, “I know! Congratulations. The A Fistful of Stances <鐵馬尋橋> family will definitely be sending some gifts over.”
Plan “B” is Eliza’s comeback with TVB, and she will be playing Kenneth’s pregnant wife. Eliza, who has a 1-year-old son, said carrying a fake belly around is a completely different experience to the real thing. “When you’re actually pregnant, you’ll be affected by your hormones, so it’s actually much more difficult. But when you’re carrying a fake belly around, that cold silicone is attached to your skin, so you’ll feel cold at first. But once you warm up to it, you start sweating, and then the belly gets wet. You have to get used to it!”
As for her experience filming with the children, she said, “They’re all very well-behaved. We’re having a great time together!”
In related news, Hugo Ng said he hasn’t seen his wife in at least three months. Due to travel measures from the coronavirus, Hugo has to live in a hotel in Hong Kong and his wife is staying in Hong Kong. “We’ve never been apart for that long before,” said Hugo. “It feels like we’ve lost touch.”
Kiki Sheung (商天娥), Mimi Kung (龔慈恩), Jonathan Cheung (張頴康), and Stephanie Che (車婉婉) also star in the series.

Sad day when Eliza is playing lead.
@anon lool Eliza has been lead for years. I think she just paused for a bit due to pregnancy
@luye
Being a lead at TVB doesn’t mean you can act. She can’t even speak the language properly let alone knowing how to act.
@anon Female leads in TVB usually come from pageants as long as they are pretty. I think it would be better if they have people audition for roles.
@anon
better than linda chung.
Kenneth and Eliza. TVB is really going for flops huh?
@pompidur
title and plot don’t sound like a flip to begin w/.
