Viann Zhang Scolds Ron Ng’s Fans As Brainless
Since mainland actress, Viann Zhang’s (張馨予) romance with Ron Ng (吳卓羲) was exposed last year, Viann often engaged in heated crossfires with his fans. Viann’s fiery temper once again surfaced in a Weibo argument with Ron’s fans yesterday. After being insulted, Viann scolded his fan as being brainless!
One of Ron’s fans left a message on Viann’s Weibo blog, complaining that his position at TVB has slipped since his dating relationship with Viann was exposed. In recent TVB dramas, such as Forensic Heroes 3 <法證先鋒III> and even the upcoming Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles <名媛望族>, Ron’s roles were considered to be largely supporting characters overshadowed by other leading men. Ron’s fans apparently blamed his controversial love relationship with Viann impacting his image negatively, leading to TVB no longer favoring him.
Ron’s fan wrote on Viann’s Weibo, “If you were to achieve your self-interests at the expense of others, do you think the outcome will be good?”
Viann immediately fired, “You brainless fan, I never needed you to like me! There is no need for you to pay attention to someone such as myself that you are not used to. Hope that you fans are able to marry your idols one day!”
Viann’s angry rebuttal to Ron’s fan was quickly deleted after it was posted on Weibo. Did she reconsider the damage that her remark may cause and thus quickly erased it before it was able to incite further?

Jayne: Reporters are quick to observe Viann’s angry rebuttal before she decided to erase it. Although she sounds as if she is unable to take insulting remarks, thus it will just take another extreme fan to provoke her before she lashes out again.
It could be the reporter who pretend to be “fan” to instigate anger on Viann. That’s how the reporter managed to snap pic of the convo before Viann deleted it. It seems like Viann doesn’t has any high E.Q hence, she resorted in such an angry behavior.

wow. no one expects her to be carol chu ii, but at least try to be a bit more diplomatic when dealing with your bf’s fans. i have noticed ron’s ‘position’ has been slipping (no ‘true’ leading roles for ages) but i’ve always attributed it to his mediocre acting and lack of on screen charisma (to me, anyway). i guess dating this cheap, plastic doll did little to help things though.

She definately has low EQ which is not a good thing at all. Honestly, if she wants to do well and survive in the circle, she needs to change her ways. Otherwise, even if she was talented and all,she will not be able to do as well as she should with a bad attitude and low EQ. This time she is just being insulted by a fan, but the next time it can be a veteran actor/actress, a director, producer or someone with a high position. If she can’t handle or respond to criticism well, I really question how he will be able to survive in this industry??

When she realized she did something dumb she deleted it. Of course she will talk nicely in cameras. She an artist and artists learned how to present themselves nicely in cameras

The fan provoked her to make such a comment. However, i wouldn’t say its not Viann’s fault. She’s gonna have haters. Everyone has haters. Ron’s popularity in “Pretty Maid” in mainland China increased after the drama. However, it was rumored that he was blacklisted in China after he started dating Viann, who allegedly had a rich and powerful boyfriend in China before. Rumors claimed that Viann was seeing Ron behind her former bf’s back, although it is difficult to validate them.
