Grace Chan Prioritizes Taking Care of Kids First

Grace Chan (陳凱琳) made her first public appearance at an auction since giving birth to her second son Yannick in July. The mother of two happily gave details of the latest updates about her boys, and said they are her main priorities right now, “ After seeing everyone today, I have to rush home for my kids.”

Donning an off-shoulder white dress, Grace’s chest was noticeably fuller despite losing her pregnancy weight. When asked how she is doing with nursing Yannick, Grace responded, “There are pros and cons [of breastfeeding], but I want my baby to be healthy. It is exhausting. Even though I am pumping milk every two to three hours, it is worth it.”

While Grace finds motherhood tiring, she is very grateful that her husband Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) is an involved parent, “He will come back from work to take Rafael to play in the park and look after Yannick. Rafael loves his brother, but he is too young to help out. Thankfully, Raphael is not jealous of his younger brother since we talked to him before Yannick was born. Rafael is happy to have someone to play with.”

With Grace focused on caring for her sons, there have been speculations that she has given up on acting and will terminate her contract with TVB. Responding to the rumors, Grace said, “I didn’t say I don’t want to [act anymore], but it’s not possible right now. When Kevin is filming at work, I will stay home. If I want to film, Kevin will stay home. It’s hard for both of us to film at the same time. I don’t know where the rumors are coming from, but I still have a contract with TVB.”

Since Grace and Kevin always wanted a big family, would the couple try for a daughter next? Grace responded, “I can’t say. I’ll leave it to fate. We’re very busy right now so if we rush for a third child, we would feel bad if we neglect our two sons. Kevin says he will let me decide, but we want to focus on our two sons first.“
