Elaine Ng’s Daughter, Etta Ng, Ignores Her Birthday Greeting
On November 25, actress Elaine Ng (吳綺莉) released a video to address all the concerns that the public have in regards to her estranged relationship with daughter Etta Ng (吳卓林).
The three-minute video, which was released on Weibo, featured only Elaine’s manager Ah Man (阿文). Her manager stated that he had sent a happy birthday message to Etta on Elaine’s behalf, wish her a happy 21st birthday. Etta never responded to the text message.
Ah Man said, “Etta Ng can now be regarded as an adult, with her own independent personality and values. She has her own life now. Elaine Ng has also returned to living alone.”
Her manager denied all rumors claiming that Elaine gave birth to Etta, who is Jackie Chan’s illegitimate daughter (), for the sole purpose of winning Jackie’s estate. He said, “To those who spread those unfounded rumors, I believe you can all shut your mouth now. Facts prove that Miss Ng never had that intention. If she did consider it, she would’ve done something before Etta turned 18 years old.”
Elaine Ng herself also posted an update on Weibo. She wrote, “If I have to be alone, so be it. I will focus my heart in acting and work.”
