Lisa Tse is Not in a Rush to Film Dramas
TVB held an event today to promote new Hollywood movie Transformers: The Last Knight. The event was attended by Miss Hong Kong winners Lisa Tse (謝嘉怡), Celina Harto (陳楨怡), Rosita Kwok (郭栢妍) and TVB actors William Chak (翟威廉), Adrian Chau (周志文), and Brian Chu (朱敏瀚).
The artistes are fans of the Transformers franchise and shared that they would enjoy watching it in a movie theater more as the surround sound system would provide even more sensory stimulation.
Celina joked that she had once been so nervous while watching a movie that she accidentally grabbed her friend’s hand. Reporters questioned if it was a male or female friend and she awkwardly replied, “It was a friend. But I have grabbed a man’s hand on the street before because I thought he was my dad!” She shared that she will be completing her driving test at the end of the month. It is her third attempt, and she hopes that the third time’s a charm.
Rosita shared that even though she already has her driver’s license, she is still not brave enough to drive. “I had also failed the test three times before succeeding. I only drive around my home now.”
In regards to the news that TVB has signed contracts with many of this year’s Miss Hong Kong candidates, the trio indicated that they were not worried about potential competition. Lisa expressed that all of them have different personality and images. She is also happy that her cousin Casa Yuen (源菲然) has already started work and is filming a drama. Though Lisa is interested to film comedies, she is not in a rush as she has a lot of charity events to attend to this year and she hopes to improve her Cantonese first.
ATV’s Miss Asia has recently crowned its winner. It turns out that she was an applicant for this year’s Miss Hong Kong, however she withdrew her candidacy. Rosita expressed that she does remember her as they sat together to chat in the beginning. They are no longer in contact, but she sends her congratulations.
