Dilraba Dilmurat in a Demon-Master Romance with Ren Jialun for “The Blue Whisper”

With You Are My Glory <你是我的荣耀> and The Long Ballad <长歌行> awaiting release, Dilraba Dilmurat (迪丽热巴) has already started filming her new drama with Ren Jialun (任嘉伦) in Hengdian on February 13. The duo will be caught in a demon-master romance in upcoming historical fantasy drama, The Blue Whisper <驭鲛记>.

Written by Jiu Lu Fei Xiang (九鹭非香), The Blue Whisper will be adapted into a two-part series. The story unfolds as Princess Shunde captures a shark demon Chang Yi (Ren Jialun), and desires to keep it as a pet. To tame it, she seeks out demon master Ji Yunhe (Dilraba Dilmurat) and gives her three tasks to complete within three months. She wishes the demon can speak with humans, have legs, and serve with loyalty. While Yunhe is a talented and powerful demon master, she could not help but pity the tortured and imprisoned shark demon. Struggling with mixed emotions, she finds herself feeling attached to him.

Fans of the novel are excited to see Diliraba and Jialun confirmed to lead the series. Both artistes are praised for their gorgeous costume images, and their experience and ease in playing historical roles in Eternal Love <三生三世十里桃花> and Under the Power <锦衣之下> respectively.
