Gillian Chung Does Not Want to Return Her Ex’s Gifts
Doki Doki Love <怦然心動20歲> is Gillian Chung’s (鍾欣桐) first reality show since her divorce. I have personally dispose all my ex’s gifts for me… but all done after 1years a part… Really did not need them around anymore. The jewelleries etc are given away. I would not bother to even sell the items.
@hohliu I guess everyone is different. For me, I was so angry at him that I threw everything back at him, refusing to keep any memories of us. After physically move away, I kinda regretting it because I really love one of the gifts for what it is lol! So I think best is keep it and dispose them at your own time.
It feels that Gillian is still fond of their memories together/the items are still of use to her lawl

I never dated but it depends on what it is. If it is something useful then maybe I would keep it. It also depends on how you break up. If I broke up on good terms then maybe I would keep some as a keepsake for memories. But if I had an ugly one, then I would get rid of it all or give it all back since what is the point of keeping it.
I dunno, I guess it depends on the breakup. If it’s a mutual breakup, I don’t see any issues with keeping gifts from an ex. Heck, I think I still have a couple things from an ex, now that I think about it lol.
Asking an ex for a gift back is petty and cheap though. You gave it to the person, it’s theirs to keep.
i keep everything lol. no one has asked me for anything back either. in my experience, even if the break-up wasn’t always great, but the memories of when i was gifted the item were pleasant.
