Kim Woo Bin Confirmed to Star in Netflix’s Series “Black Knight”
Netflix shares exciting news that South Korean actor Kim Woo Bin be starring in an original series Black Knight alongside Kang You Seok and Esom.
Adapted from an award-winning webtoon series of the same name, the sci-fi drama takes place in the dystopian future of 2071 where severe air pollution forces people to use ventilators to live. During Earth’s darkest time, the citizens rely on delivery couriers known as Knights to transport packages that would become their only means of survival.
Knight 5-8 (Kim Woo Bin) is a renowned for his exceptional fighting skills and meets refugee Sa Wol (Kang You Seok) who dreams of becoming a knight. While the delivery knights become humanity’s final hope, trouble is brewing as desertification quickly spread across the landscape and the remaining 1% of the population adapts by dividing into social classes.
Kim Woo Bin will be reuniting with director Cho Ui Seok after the two last collaborated together for 2016’s film Master.
Although little detail has been revealed on the drama’s premiere date, Black Knight is expected to be released in 2022.

Cant be original if the courier service sounds like the awesome cells at work and dystopia nature sounds like the darker Code Black. Go watch cells at work. Highly imaginative, beautifully drawn and great story which us mostly medically accurate.
To be fair I don’t know webtoon first or j anime first so I could be wrong.
