Gillian Chung Turns 41

Gillian Chung (鍾欣潼) celebrated her 41st birthday on January 21 with Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍), Joey Yung (容祖兒), and manager Mani Fok (霍汶希). Even though Gillian is still working in China, she is grateful to her close friends for throwing her a special birthday party.

The party was filled with light blue balloons which formed the letter “G” for Gillian, as well as a large heart. Although there were only four of them, Gillian was still given eight birthday cakes.

Exactly at midnight of her birthday, Charlene posted a photo of the group blowing kisses while Gillian sat in the middle surrounded by her birthday cakes. She wrote, “Today 00:00, Happy Birthday my Gillian. I am very fortunate to have met and spent over 20 years with you. I am not only lucky, but blessed to have walked side by side with you. We have been asked about our experiences together a lot at work this year, in which we talked a lot about our friendship. No matter how many times they show our old photos and videos, I can never get over that special feeling.”

Charlene is grateful to have experienced so much happy memories with Gillian. “During happy times, our excitement doubles. During our lowest points, we give each other warmth. I wish you forever strength and happiness. I will always be by your side no matter what. Whether it was in the past or in the future, I will shower you with time and love. Love you, love you, love you, love you, love you!”
