Shiga Lin Portrays Carlos Chan’s Sister-in-Law in New Drama
After collaborating in a travel show in 2019, Carlos Chan (陳家樂) and Shiga Lin (連詩雅) started dating. Although neither party have confirmed the relationship, their romance is an open secret. The couple has been photographed on dates on multiple occasions and would sporadically share photos of one another on their social media.
For the first time since their dating rumors began, Carlos and Shiga are collaborating in new Chinese drama Below the Lion Rock: Love <獅子山下．情>, which features an all Hong Kong cast including Pakho Chau (周柏豪), Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), and Aarif Lee (李治廷). Commencing filming last November, the drama is a big-budget project which was made to mark the 25th anniversary of the Hong Kong Handover. In the drama, Shiga portrays Carlos’ sister-in-law–she is Pakho’s wife, while Carlos plays Pakho’s younger brother.
Although they will not have a romantic storyline, they are able to spend more time together during filming. It is said that they are always together, whether they are on set or spending they days off. Working together seems to have allowed the couple to get to know each other on a deeper level and have drastically improved their relationship as well.
