Kim Jae Wook and Krystal Jung Have a Turbulent Relationship in “Crazy Love”

South Korean drama Crazy Love pulls Krystal Jung and Kim Jae Wook together for a sweet yet murderous love story.

In the drama, Kim Jae Wook plays Noh Go Jin, the CEO of the country’s best math tutoring institute and has an IQ score of 190. Noh Go Jin lacks empathy and soon becomes a target of death threats. In order to escape from his pursuers, he pretends to have amnesia.

Krystal plays Lee Shin Ah,  a timid secretary and is the only one in the company willing to put up with Noh Go Jin. Although Lee Shin Ah is a hard worker, her world comes crashing down when she discovers she doesn’t have much time left and later takes advantage of Noh Go Jin’s “amnesia” by pretending to be his fiancé.

When asked why Kim Jae Wook accepted this drama, the actor replied, “Because it’s a difficult time, I wanted to star in a project that would make people laugh more than a project that is dark. During my search, I came across ‘Crazy Love’”

To nail down the characterization of his role, Kim Jae Wook revealed that he did a lot of research on tutors and their profession. However, the actor found that there was no standard framework for a stylistic direction and chose to use his own interpretation to build the character’s unique personality.

Kim Jae Wook added, “I always wanted to show everyone a new image. And not get stuck in acting. I want to continue to improve to give the audience more joy. I hope this drama will make people laugh, get attached to the characters and get immersed in the story. Please look forward to the unique romance of ‘Crazy Love.’”

Viewers can catch this new rom-com when it premieres on March 7.
