Yoona and Lee Jong Suk’s “Big Mouth” Airs Finale

Girls Generation’s Yoona and actor Lee Jong Suk wrapped up their current MBC’s project Big Mouth on September 17. With new plot twists, the finale broke records and ratings soared to 13.7 percent nationwide.  Viewers praised the leads’ chemistry and improved acting skills.

Playing a mediocre lawyer who got framed as the infamous criminal “Big Mouse,” Jong Suk successfully delivered a memorable character different from prior roles. Despite the challenges, Jong Suk expressed, “It was an unforgettable acting experience, with diverse themes and character development from a ridiculed lawyer to a genius fraudster with emotional ties.”

Returning to the small screen after three years, Jong Suk felt fulfilled to see his efforts being recognized through viewers’ enthusiastic responses. “I am very grateful for everyone’s support as I gained strength to work even harder.”

Meanwhile, Yoona feels bittersweet about the finale as she learned a lot about herself during filming. Successfully pulling off highly emotional scenes, Yoona garnered praises for her acting improvement and moved viewers with her heart-wrenching performances. Starring in a law drama with gang themes for the first time, Yoona shared that Big Mouth holds a special spot in her heart and thanked the crew and viewers for their support.

In addition to Big Mouth’s success, Yoona is also making great strides in the film industry with her latest work Confidential Assignment 2: International achieving ideal box office results. Her new project 2 O’Clock Date is preparing for filming soon.
