Leehom Wang to Make a Comeback?
It has been a year since Leehom Wang (王力宏) took a hiatus following a messy divorce and accusation of infidelity from his ex-wife Lee Jinglei (李靚蕾). While the two are currently in the midst of a lengthy court battle, Leehom is reportedly making moves in his career and is reportedly eyeing a comeback.
Leehom’s career took a nosedive following the scandal and he was immediately blacklisted and dropped by brand partners. Although his works were also promptly removed from China’s audio and video streaming planforms, the ban appears to be a temporary measure and as Leehom has recently reappeared back on China’s media platform.
As evidence of his comeback, fans noticed that Leehom’s name has been added back to Chinese music program Sing! China <中國好聲音> where the singer previously appeared as a mentor. In addition, Leehom is listed as a guest for the fourth season of The Treasured Voice <天賜的聲音> alongside Zhang Bichen (張碧晨).
Leehom’s alleged comeback has created a buzz among netizens – many of which seem to be ready to look past Leehom’s scandal. The netizens expressed their anticipation to see Leehom’s comeback and wrote, “The Chinese music scene needs your talent. Looking forward to seeing you on the stage!”

Oh no… I am really not keen on his comeback. His court case is still on going… But he still have many fans, it is no wonder he has confidence to make a comeback..
“The Chinese music scene needs your talent” is such a silly statement to me. China has no shortage of talent in the music industry. I’m indifferent about his comeback. His personal life doesn’t affect me. If anything, I’d rather him be able to make money to help support his children.
