Aimee and Moses Chan on Filming Together as a Married Couple

Romeo and His Butterfly Lover <羅密歐與祝英台> has finally wrapped up filming, and the cast and crew popped champagne to celebrate. The TVB drama stars real-life couple Aimee (陳茵媺) and Moses Chan (陳豪), who work together for the first time since getting married nine years ago. Aimee shared that she wants to cry because she feels very emotional.

“We’ve been through a lot, from the martial arts training to catching COVID-19! But we have great team spirit–it’s really hard to come across a crew with this much passion and harmony. I’m really touched and sad to be finished!” Aimee said.

Moses added that he had a really great time filming, “I’m not sure if it’s because my wife is here, so it made the entire atmosphere more harmonious and happy. It’s all because of her!” Initially, he was reserved about working with his wife, but Moses now has a better understanding of the chemistry they can bring. However, he does not want to film together again, “From an actor and the audience’s point of view, we’re against this.”

Moses praised his wife for being a great actress, but will let Aimee decide whether she wants to continue acting. Aimee confirmed that she enjoyed filming again and is already itching to do it soon!

As the filming lasted several months, Aimee and Moses had less time with their three children. Their eldest son Aiden (陳梓燁) told Aimee that he did not like her filming, and suggested that she act poorly so that she would be fired and have more time with him!
